Some information from Greg Green's grow Bible, posted by KP for your perusal
I'm not a copyright lawyer but kindprincess is guilty of the type of overt plagarism that really pisses me off...when you copy and paste more than a hundred pages of a published authors work to the internet and post answers to hundreds of questions with the same author's work without acknowledgement then you are really ripping that poor bastard off...
At least acknowledge the thousands of hours of original work that went into your copy and pasted answers before you accept praise and accolades from a bunch of teenagers who have never bought a book before...
I've been growing more than fifty years, before most of you were even born...there is always something new to learn in horticulture but make sure you give credit where credit is due...The Cannabis Grow Bible is one of the best books to come along in the last ten years...

here's one for you sweetie; i've never read the cannabis grow bible, don't know who wrote it... and it is irrelevent, as this info has been altered in several ways. therefore, it is NOT plagerism. not only have the excerpts been altered (your man loves typos...) but it is even stated, "from marijuanahydro.com"
don't believe me? here's a fucking link...
http://www.marijuanahydro.com/mature...anaplants.html
now, tell me mister pissed off about plagerism dude, where the fuck does it say who wrote this? i don't see it... if it was there, then it would be noted at the beginning of the thread. if this info had been taken from a book, then all titles/authors would have been noted. i am NOT a plagerist, i have not attempted to take credit for "writing" this info...
i take credit for creating this thread. now, if you can show me that this came "directly" from the grow bible, and give me authors, page numbers, etc., i'd be happy to ask bobbong to place it in the beginning of the thread. if not, then get off my back, and help other noobs find this thread.
and just a side line... this thread was created because of 50 year vet growers bieng assholes and not answering questions. that is why i've become so popular; not only do i say, "you need to read some more", i also show them what to read, where to find it...
you get my point?
now, on the offhand, plagerism is defined as copying directly another's work; this is not exact, has been altered, changed, mixed up....
therefore, kindprincess is guilty of no overt plagerism. mr. 50 year grower? get off my fucking back please. if you're going to get on a soap box, then try to do so with someone who has not read the dictionary. before you go on about plagerism again, here's that link ...

don't you love copy/paste?

First of all kid, I don't appreciate you swearing at me like that. I told you I'd been growing for more than fifty years...I'm seventy-one years old, older than your grandparents I bet. Don't you ever call me an asshole again and then tell me how popular you've become in the same breath...it just reinforces what a shallow, insecure little fool you are. I'm not here to rain on your reign of popularity kindprincess, the desire for popularity is extremely acute in teenage girls, just respond to me with a civil tongue, okay?
Secondly, resorting to profanity in any debate, written or verbal, typically indicates the beginning of a losing argument. When you grow up and should you ever become a real Headmistress or Professor you will understand this...
All I said in my original post was that you need to credit this work to Greg Green, the author of The Cannabis Grow Bible...he doesn't care that it's available free on the internet, in fact it was originally published that way. There is a review here on amazon which lists the chapters and sub-headings, compare them please to your own KP's Cannabis College thread and have the decency to keep your word and give credit to the appropriate author, your thread starts off:
KP's Cannabis College:Cannabis Issues, Facts and Guide.

All I stated was that credit for the work should be given where it is due, with the author of the work. I carefully chose my words by calling you guilty of overt plagiarism, because to give you the benefit of the doubt, I still don't think you understand completely what plagiarism is, do you understand what overt means? I know you added that you'd borrowed the work, so you are not a plagiarist, i never said that, but when given the opportunity to give credit to the original author is offered, then you should absolutely consider it relevent...
When you buy a hamburger at Burger King and open it up and re-arrange the lettuce, tomatoes and pickles it doesn't mean you have now made the hamburger, you've just re-arranged the order of the ingredients. When you change the order of the chapters to a published authors book it doesn't mean the book isn't plagiarised, it is...
Every time somebody thanks you, every time you shamelessly plug your thread, everytime you answer a question with the information in this thread and every time you vainly wish that your thread becomes a 'stickie' you need to graciously acknowledge the man who actually wrote it. You need to acknowledge that none of the half a million words you have copied and pasted represent any of your own original thoughts, experiences or knowledge. The gift of knowledge is far more important than a popularity contest, The Cannabis Grow Bible is a wonderful piece of work, like I said before, one of the best cultivation books to come out for many years...your secretarial skills and ability to copy and paste and your rising popularity in your self-inflated, egotistical mind are a fine testament to that...
And now to change the subject, do you have any questions that an old asshole grower could answer?

this was at the beginning of each individual post. it may have been lost when bob put them together and added the table of contents. i have made every effort to give credit where it's do; however, if you go to the link i provided, you'll soon note that there is no mention of the author or the name of the book from which it came. now, this is from the link you provided...
The Greg Green Collection (two books) like Marijuana Growing is a worthy hobby and next to a collection of High Times magazines is certainly one of largest written texts on a plant, running more than an extra couple of thousand words than the other items out there. Although Greg Green is not the longest running marijuana writer, you get around 600 pages of solid growing information. Each page is crammed with no nonsense information without extra filler internet photographs where you want words. In terms of text nothing comes even remotely close to that. And this is no nonsense information without babbling. By the end of the collection you should have a garden that defines the word awe. This is the kind of item that requires a few minutes of you hobby time a day over the course of two or three crops. The Cannabis Bible series creator Greg Green nails a powerful premise, realizing the contradictions and errors of pot journalism (that everyone talks about) versus real world growing and sets up a book at odds with what was done before and includes medical use. Most pages play along with the theme of teaching the grower everything from the ground up, focusing on new discoveries while eliminating confusion and erroneous information picked up elsewhere. There are no guest star writers appearing midway who start talking about the same thing another way or cancel out of confuse you even more. It is pretty much less about theory and more about showing the reader how it is done. It is a complete work from start to end. The scope or coverage is beyond that of what you might expect from a pot book. Just look.

sounds like these may indeed have originally come from The Cannabis Grow Bible... greg green, this one's for you babe, hope it lives forever, and is always invaluable to others...
now, props given where props are deserved, i don't appreciate your attack on my character. i care nothing of fame and popularity. as a matter of fact, i'll soon not be seen anywhere on the net. i have tried to provide as much help to this site as i've gotten from it. here's my first response...
"it is mentioned in the beginning of the thread that these excerpts are "directly" from marijuanahydro.com. i took the time to organize that info into a thread (several, actually) here, for all to have quick reference to. thanks to bobbong, this thread now is consolidated and has table of contents.
my sole intent when performing this task was to help others. should i be faulted? or should i continue to spread the word that this info is here and available?"
i allowed where this info came from. i stated my purpose. i asked a legitimate question... now, my second statement, immediately following...
OFFICIAL DISCLAIMER
I DID NOT WRITE THIS GUIDE. I PUT SEVERAL ARTICLES FROM ONE WEBSITE TOGETHER, IN A DIFFERENT ORDER. I HAVE, HOWEVER READ ALL OF THESE ARTICLES AT LEAST ONCE, AND HAVE PUT ONLY THOSE THAT I DEEMED HELPFUL IN THIS THREAD. I DO NOT, NOR HAVE I EVER INTENDED TO TAKE CREDIT FOR THESE WORKS.
kp
now, i did not have any evidence at all to back your original statement...
"You need to credit this work to "Greg Green" the author of, the Cannabis Grow Bible, The definative guide to growing marijuana for recreational and medical use...he wrote the book Princess..."
however, i did say where I got the info from. this is your next statement...
I've been growing more than fifty years, before most of you were even born...there is always something new to learn in horticulture but make sure you give credit where credit is due...The Cannabis Grow Bible is one of the best books to come along in the last ten years...
in my oppinion, everything in this post is uncalled for. i listed the site of original context, i mentioned in a blunt fashion that these are NOT my original thought or writings... what reason do you have to attack me?
furthermore, i never called you an asshole. here's my statement...
and just a side line... this thread was created because of 50 year vet growers bieng assholes and not answering questions. that is why i've become so popular; not only do i say, "you need to read some more", i also show them what to read, where to find it...
in other words, i put this together to help people who know nothing, and expreinced persons turn away(assholes). if you don't do so, then disregard; i used your age/years of experience as a metaphor to this fact. but, i responded with agression, anger, and profanity from your personal attack on me. i rarely swear, but you pushed me over the edge. look around this site and count how many times you see me reply like that...
when you say, "I'm not a copyright lawyer but kindprincess is guilty of the type of overt plagarism that really pisses me off...", i respond with my honest opinion.
now, if i've left nothing out, i think this debate should end. you were right, i was right, you were wrong, i was wrong. bang... the end.
and, as a matter of fact i do have a question for you, all bullshit and differences aside; do you know the origin of yukon gold, or if it is still in existence at all?

Kind Princess, you have replied to most of my posts looking for answers, would I have taken the information I needed more readily from some '50year grower' maybe, maybe not. But the fact remains the 'old guy' didn't answer my posts, YOU DID. I started reading this post and from the start I was immediately put into the mind set that I was reading excerpt's from a previously written arcticle. Never was I led to believe that you were this GREAT GENIUS with all the answers. I was always left with the feeling that, wow this kind princess sure is cool to take the time to gather all this info and put it into one post...
I went to it to find out all I could about harvest time, as it is getting close to that time in my personal quest to rid myself of the 'dealer'. As it turns out all my questions were answered, and then some.
I've never heard of this Tricome City, but I have been continually blessed with the time KP has taken to answer my questions.
Taking this from 'The Random House College Dictionary' i quote
'ASSHOLE- 2. a mean or contemptible person or thing' ie, see Trichomes post
well I for one can easily come to the conclusion after reading through this whole post that this Trichome Dude feels he has to feed his ego by belittling those who are actually out there helping people REGARDLESS of how, or where they get there info.
This remiinds me of what my mother used to say 'if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all' and no, my mother was not the original author of that quote.
Thank you Kind Princess for
TAKING THE TIME TO HELP US OUT!
and please don't go anywhere........
