I'm over 40, look like I'm in my 30's (mostly good genes but also not drinking/smoking cigarettes, exercise- like Breukelen advocaat- good habits help!), sometimes act like I'm in my 20's (yea Amsterdam!!), and have the heart of someone under 12- still breakable.
I hope I live many more years, because there is still so much to do and experience. I appreciate life so much more now than when I was younger, and know so much more about myself, that it makes the slight aches and pains, a grey hair or a wrinkle, no big deal in the long run.
So much of my childhood and prolonged adolescence was about injury, and my young adulthood was about repair, so now it is time to go for it- I am on the road to becoming a parent. What a journey- life's a trip
