i noticed some small yellowing going on so i started them on cal-mag plus which has 2.0.0 in it so they get a tiny dose of nitrogen every watering, they will be on calmag until harvest.

other than that everything is going great no stretching at all using the hps during veg you just have to keep it close

Why? Straight water. No nutes. Just water. For the next 2 weeks, at least. I'd recommend for 3 weeks, at least.

Why does just about EVERYONE growing in dirt fertilize their babies till they shrivel & die? Look at these dirt girls: http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=93029 There has been no fertilizer at all used there. I'm not starting nutes (organic) till next week.

If you're growing in soil, NEVER fertilize till your first set of 5 fingered leaves are fully developed. Hydro nute rules DO NOT apply to dirt. More babies die from overfertilization in dirt than any other cause. Overwatering comes a close 2nd.

Blä. Soory, not yer fault. (Well, yes it is!) Just tired of seeing so many burnt or waterlogged babies.

In this first thread, the 5 week flower coala grown from seed was started on nutes at 2 weeks and in the second thread, all of the clones directly under the light started low amount of nutes at 1 1/2 weeks after rooting.

I don't use the Cal Mag all the way threw, for the fact that for about the last 2 weeks I want almost no N so the plant can use up it's stored N.
    Adieu

not much of a update really, i guess i gave up on that 8th seed to quick as i noticed she finally came up 5 days later.

anyways gave them some water and a misting to keep it humid as possible, they are nice and compact so far except the late bloomer, so far so good.

that glass shield is really working out for me, the air coming out the cab feels almost the same of the room so when i get the 465CFM hooked up i can upgrade my bulb to a 250watt.

they are doing great nice and green very compact with no stretching like i had last time with the HPS, i have them about 10in from the lights so this is probably the biggest difference from last time.

here we are about 10-12 days old, seems they dried out a bit to long the cups dont hold much water at all.

i transplanted them into 8" round pots tonight hopefully once the root system gets going all will be well.

    here a few pics
