i have one thing to say... i have had training to do stream surveys and the water has to be at the right PH level for fish to live... other then contaminates... i would say the fish pond water would be fine... (the stream PH level is right around 7... witch is pretty good for fish to live{but then again, i don't know jack shit about growing, and i was just looking around for some pointers} just my 2 cents)
