Orange PeelYes but lettuce works better or any fresh leaf from almost any plant. Be careful using fruit as it can bring on mold quicker than other greens due to the sugar. Use a small piece of lettuce instead and only for a couple hours in a sealed glass jar.

Orange PeelOk I will give lettuce a try. I have another question. The buds that I will be trying to refresh have been vacuum sealed. Is it worth refreshing them? Can it even be done?

Orange PeelThat shouldn't make much of a difference, it will freshen your buds up a bit in a couple hours...just be careful not to leave the lettuce/orange peel into long or you WILL develop mold. Originally Posted by Meenstreek Originally Posted by Meenstreek

Orange PeelWell, I've seen vacuum sealed buds and they are hard as a rock. I doubt they will refresh the way you want them to. They will stay in the same state they are in now, hard as brick.

Give it a try, though, can't hurt. Report back what happens.

Orange PeelHave you seen vacuum sealed buds before? You practically need a mortar and pestle to grind the shit up. An oz is the size of a Bic lighter. Other objects are slowly drawn towards it because of it's so dense. Originally Posted by KiEfBoyjBm Originally Posted by KiEfBoyjBm

 Orange PeelTry lettuce.

Or a single droplet of water on a paper towel. Only if it does not touch the buds.

Orange PeelI have a feeling your right perp. What about the smoke in the short run (2-3 months). WIll it still retain most of its potency? They're vacuum sealed and in a dark dry place. My biggest concern is the smoke rather than presentation. Originally Posted by Perp Originally Posted by Perp

Orange Peelusually vac seal is for shipping and consealing smell... it would be hard to find a person that had the bud in both states,,,vac-ed and fresh, like you...

the attached pic is the size of lettuce I put in a ¼ to a ½ but,,, not sealed with it,only after opening the seal... it will bring fluff back to the bud but,,, not to the point of before vac...

do not over-do the lettuce because it will promote mold... I just put the lettuce in the bag or jar...
