Did a system restore, need codecs.

My web provider told me that I had to do a system restore for some reasons and shit.

So I did and now i have a ton of idk what to call them. But they are programs that were there at the system restore, But I had deleted since then. How do I get these programs off?

And I need codecs so I can watch some movies :\

That should cover you, its got most codecs in there.

I don't understand what your asking about the programs, but to get any program off your 'puter just un-install it. Just go to your control panel, then add/remove programs, and uninstall from the list. If it ain't in the list, find the folder in "programs" in your c: drive and just delete the folder if there isn't an uninstall.exe file in it.

No you don't understand. The file is not on my computer. but on the add/remove screen, it is there, when i try and delete it, it says cannot find the file. It won't let me delete it off this list, and also, if i put in the disk to re download it, it says the file is already on my computer.

there is a program calld hijackthis, and its a log of what your comps runnin or something like that, and to some, not me, they can tell whats really bad on your comp and you can make it so you can get that bad shit off of their.. if someone knows how to read one of those then i recomend doing that, i did it once and my comp worked way better after it..
