Be grateful, that we don't have the draft or mandatory military service, like Israel,be grateful that you still have the choice not to serve.
Have a good one !

Army Reserves?
I took the oath,
drank foreign beer
fucked foreign women
beat up and got beat up by foreign men,
ate foreign foreign food.
was hated by many forigen people.
came home,and went to school.
To me the army is a stepping stone, if you need to get yourself out of a funk do it. But if you can save money otherwise, enjoy smoking pot, and hate being told what to do then don't go for it.
Remember when you are in the army, you do in fact have a 9/5, you can change your 9/5, and it might be fun, but besides that, you will a have 24 hour 7 day a week job, you will never disapear off the grid (flying from japan to america they did an "eye scan" and i was already in the system,) you will always have to come home and if something needs to be done, and you can do it, you will do it, even if it means harm. forget personal safty, its always mission first.
You up for that?

fair trade to me, not to others. If you don't want to join the army then don't. i say its a good exp though. Oh and Wayoftheleaf, please give it up. You know nothing about army life, or andim willing to go out on a limb and say this; real life situations. Don't put down things you do not understand, isn't that the reason why us canna smokers get locked in cages?

hmmm...
i think there is something in the water because my husband is considering similar thoughts (goodness help me)...lemme tell you.....i wasnt in the army but i was an army wife, and it really takes a special person to make the choice to be a soldier....id like to say this doesnt seem like the best time to do so, but in reality, someone has to do it, and there never will be a "right time"....educationally, it is awesome and there are teriffic benefits...
in the end, like anything else in your life, it can be what you make it...it would be a growth eperience like no other..
