    Mormonism...

They are no different than any other religion. It's the blind leading the blind. Open your eyes to the LORD.
Stay tuned for the revelation of Jesus.

Their religion is extremely sexist, not to mention racist...until about 25 years ago, black men could not be ordained as Mormon priests.
That's because they believe black skin is the mark of Cain.

Yes, it is known as the curse of the seed of cain doctrine. it was abandoned in 1978. They believe that if you were born with dark skin, it is because you were a bad person in the pre existence. They do have many weird teachings which they dont tell you at first, maybe not even until after many years do you learn of some of them:

God lives on a planet near the star named Kolob

God has a tangible body and was a man like us

We can all be gods and rule our own universes

One must go through an endowment ceremony that was somewhat controversial and changed in 1990 for that reason.

After going through endowment ( a weird ceremony shrouded in secrecy), one must wear at all times sacred undergarments which are weird looking. They are supposed to protect you from evil. I will try to attach a picture.

At the endowment ceremony, you will be taught some secret handshakes which will be necessary for you to get into heaven

Mormons may not discuss, even among themselves, the endowment ceremony for it is considered to be too sacred to discuss. Its just so weird of a ceremony that they know it can turn many people away from mormonism.

I have talked to someone i know that was raised mormon and gave it up at the age of 18. He says he is convinced it is a cult. His parents are still mormon but he doesnt want his kids growing up in it. It is a crazy ass religion indeed.

As for Mormonism, it is yet another crazy racist superstition, a memetic virus that has unfortunately taken over the brains of millions. Here's a funny video about an atheist who goes door-to-door in Utah pushing his beliefs in the faces of people who are trying to sleep, to make a point about how annoying it is when Mormons do that.

Sounds exactly like me. I live just outside SLC and my whole family was raised mormon. All of my siblings hate it and none are even mormon anymore. It really is like a cult (but not as bad as some of the crazy-ass offshoots). The people are all really super nice or really super judgemental and condescending. I'm not a member anymore, but I do know quite a bit and would be glad to talk to anyone about it

They teach all those in their doctrine. I've heard of the weird endowment ceremony, but I don't really know anything about it because it happens at marriage. The spouses can know theirs together, but can't tell anyone else about it. I asked my parents about it when I was little but they said satan would steal their souls somehow... so... It's really weird. :rasta: Wanna know anything else?

And you learn all of those teachings (without any details on the endowment except that it "is one of the most important things in the church) at a young age starting at maybe 4 or 5
