I Like Sports

big deal right? a guy who likes sports, dime a dozen right? WRONG

my whole life i was the kid in highschool who knew the least bout any sport, football, soccer, hockey, boxing, cricket, tennis, all i know about these sports was that they all involved a ball of some kind (except boxing.......) and that they bored the hell out of me.......

i never played, never watched, never talked bout it.......... so yeah, never really got into em.....

then in june i was in israel, my sister was getting married there and i had finished my service, so instead of going back to australia i spent a month there, this was around the soccer cup thingo, and i realized something, sitting round in the pubs, drinking bears, yelling at the tvs and singing sports songs, i realized I LOVE SPORTS!!!!!!! i actually enjoyed soccer, didnt understand what the hell was going on, still dont, i just know i love it, in August i went to my first footy game (thats australian football, apparently theres a difference between aussie football and american, dunno what it is though.......) and i enjoyed being there,

ive also been talking to a freind of mine in university about various fighting styles hes learned, ive only had basic training with KM, so he has far more experience than me, hes been sending me boxing videos to watch on youtube, FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

so yeah, any aussies know where i can get one of those shirts that say "I Like Sports", or is that just an american thing?

i've never really been into sports much,,

but music.. hell yea i listen to music when im goin to sleep, when i just wake up... when im takin a shit.. hell, i listen to music constantly.. id say about at least 8 hours a day other wise id go CRAZY lol :madnoel:

You know your from Ohio if: The local paper covers national and international headlines on one page but requires 6 pages for sports. What can I say, we love sports, we love the outdoors, and we love music. The mid-west is a sports meccah. If you go through the record books and look at all the great players in basketball and football. More of them came out of the midwest and midwest high school's than not.
