    Newbie with questions

These plants are 7 weeks old. Started on 12/12 seventeen days ago. They seem to me to be pretty healthy. Question is I am only seeing a small amount of the female pistils (all females by the way), is this normal or should I be seing more of early folowering at this stage? Any responses would be appreciated.

yeah, its important to grow your plants in vegetative untill they have a proper amount of preflowers even if they are clones or feminized. it also depends on the strain. do you have bud formation? you should definately be seeing something after 17 days or your plant is facing some sort of shock. make shure your room is light proof as much as posible and that you are not turning your lights on during the dark periods; this will mess with the plants proccess of producing flowers. they look healthy though!

So you started them flowering when they were about 4 weeks old? That could explain the lack of flowering going on. When starting from seed it takes a little while before the plant is mature enough to flower, and it won't flower until it's ready, regardless of the lighting. But 7 weeks old, they should already be more than old enough to flower, so thats exactly what they should start doing heavily before long. Other than that, looking good.

There is a difference between clones and seeds.
Clones can be taken from a mother that is very mature, which means the clones will be very mature from day one too, whereas the seed needs the full time to mature. In this case, maybe a long time to mature. I'm sorry to say, but from the two pics I clicked, they haven't started flowering at all.

Mine too are about 20 days and flowering all over the place, but they were clones, a month old from the day they were born:

First of all comments greatly appreciated, I am like a first time father here. These plants were grown from seed, they were moved to Rockwool cubes after germination period. I vegged them for 5 weeks or about 12 inches in size. As previously said I have been flowering them for 2 1/2 weeks. I have been quite careful about keeping dark periods dark (only been in there a couple of times with a flashlight during dark period-will this greatly effect flowering stage?). These pictures show better detail of the tops. I have changed light to 11/13 to speed flowering. Nuts are vita link premixed solution and "buddy"-starting this week. Again any thoughts would be appreciated.
