I have heard that before and it was funny as hell then and still made me laugh today.
I do not get bothered by telemarketers since I put my phone numbers on a master "Do not Call" list.

That is a good way to look at it.
My landlord is a telemarketer and a pot head. I have listened to her shpiel and her response to negative callees, but if she called me, I would just say to her like I do to any other telemarketer that gets past the do not call list;
"I have your phone number on my caller ID and will be calling my lawyer and the police on you for harrassment. My number is on the master do not call list and you violated that list by calling me. You have fucked up beyond your wildest nightmares and will pay for this call with your ass and bank account when I am done with you.
I hope you have a very nice day. Klick"
I do not care what they do on the other end of the phone, laugh or panic. They have probably heard that before but, it is fun to say all that and then hang up on them anyways. It has been a while since any of them have bothered us but my response is the same every time they call.

this is weird....but when i'm at work (walgreens) i have to answer phones while ringing up customers....and most've the calls are either some schmuck who cant understand how to use the automated push button thing to get to the pharmacy line...or....TELEMARKETERS!! they actually try to telemarket me at work...not just me though...its the business in general. i think they're usually trying to sell life insurance to walgreens or w/e...
