can't attach a picture

Hi - I am trying to attach a picture, but even though it said that the jpg uploaded, it didn't show up on my post- what am I doing wrong? Thank you!

I had the same problem. Check to make sure the size of your pic is within the guidelines of this site. I had to resize my pics to get them to work, even though it said that the upload was successful.

How do I find out that info about size? Where are the guidelines?

Click the little paper clip and a little window pops up with the sizes for the various file types.

Oh, I see- well my jpeg is 714 KB and th esize is 2288 X 1712
What do I need to do to make it smaller?

I think the physical size (pixels) is too big. You would need a program like Photoshop, or Irfanview to resize the pics.
