Hi kp- I am relieved that the yellow splotchy stuff is common to Blue Haze, because now seedling number 2 has some- very small, but still...I moved them so they are now under a 40w "Natural Sunshine" light- it's full-spectrum and supposed to be good for growing, isn't it? I have four of those, so if you think they are ok, I will surround the babies with them.

I am also keeping the lights on 24 hours- maybe that is too much for them? I have a timer and was planning to switch over to 18/6 once they had two pairs of real leaves (not sure why I decided that) but if you think it might be part of the problem with yellowing, I will switch right now.

The second set of real leaves are coming out, and they are so perfectly beautiful, I feel like a mommy cooing over a baby's toes!!!

I'm going to send for some cheaper seeds from seedboutique- stinkyattic recommended power plant, and I would feel better if I had more than three plants growing at a time...seeing as how they might turn out to be boys.

I am going to work on sizing my pics so you can see what I am trying to describe.
Thank you!
liberiamom Reviewed by liberiamom on . Sick Seedling! One of my little ones (1 1/2 weeks old) has yellow splotches on its first set of leaves, but the other two seem fine. I moved the light higher- it was about two inches away, and now it is six inches - in case that was the problem. The light is a 40w warm flourescent. Can anyone tell from this picture what is wrong with the baby?:( Rating: 5
