Sick Seedling!
hello soon to be mom of liberian orientation... some times, lower fan leaves get these little spots on them, all of my blueberrys do, everytime... don't know what it's from, but if you are using warm cfl's, (wich i think you mentioned) heat can be a prob, as they produce more heat than the cool veg cfl's...
if you can, pick up some 6500k flouro's or cfl's, you can get them closer, and you'll notice a quick improvement in vegetation...
as for the 600, i'd leave it be until you're ready for flower. i only use flouro;s for veg, with outstanding results, plus it lowers my bill dramatically.
i also run my hid's at nite, so i use them as heaters too. also cuts down on the electric bill, as all space heaters use 1500w when they're on... and i don't need to run anything to cool the spaces, i just open a window slightly and let freezing cold air in. but generally my temps in flower are 78 degrees, give or take a degree...
ok, and last, you are growing blue haze, right? blue haze is a hazexblueberry, so your spots could be genetic and thats it... my blueberrys all get yellow blotches at first, clones and seedlings... you shouldn't have a cfl heat prob bieng more than one inch from the cfl; you only get cfl burns if the plant touches the bulb... i'll get you some pix tonite, for comparison; my op is stalled, so i'll be spending the next few weeks trying to help others, as i'll probably need help when i go to setting up again.
now i have to find your sativa thread...
love, kp
kindprincess Reviewed by kindprincess on . Sick Seedling! One of my little ones (1 1/2 weeks old) has yellow splotches on its first set of leaves, but the other two seem fine. I moved the light higher- it was about two inches away, and now it is six inches - in case that was the problem. The light is a 40w warm flourescent. Can anyone tell from this picture what is wrong with the baby?:( Rating: 5
