Well my last grow ended up being a little too masculine for my likeing, these 3 have produced 2 mutants one has got it's embryonic leaf fused into 1 and then 3 leafs coming out instead of the usual 2 and the other has 2 plants out of 1 seed!, I've just orderd a pack of 5 femenized white widow seeds, the plan is to concentrate on the ww and then shun the other ones into the left over light like outcast, don't realy give a shit if they die my hopes are on the ww. the ones i have now came out of a pack i've had for 2 months is this perhaps why i've got these mutants?

What are you using for soil? Is there anything mixed in to help with drainage.

no just multi-purpose compost, when i repot them i'll put some builders sand and perhaps a bit of perlite in

does anyone know if the seed that has spawned 2 plants be female and male or the same sex?

I would use the pre-existing plants for practice and trial and error use what you learn from that on the ww. In my first grow i declared a plant not worthy and didn't pay any attention to it other then watering, turned out to be a good plant in the end. I never heard a confirmed account of a seed that spawned 2 plants, but i think i had the same issue once, can't be sure it it was 1 seed or just 2 really close together.

Make sure that you use a good soil mix that allows for good drainage. perlite and vermiculite, spelled wrong i think,

better yet get a hydro bubbler system and leave the soil alone. less mess and they grow alot faster. plus it's easier to control the nutrients. just an idea. I found my 5 plant system on ebay for about 50 after shipping. I'd also invest in some mylar to line your grow area, it will help reflect the lighting to aid in growing.
