Is the purpose of the siren,to remind Jews of the Sabbath,or to remind them to be alert for homicide bombers who like to murder Jews on the Sabbath ?

There haven't been any "homicide bombers who like to murder Jews on the Sabbath" around here.

I'd be ticked if I lived in a home that was in close proximity to the Shabbos siren, though.
