First of all I am not attacking soccer. I guess I made a mistake throwing a rib out there in the thread title but there was no mal content behind it. It's a Plant needs to stop stressing, and making outrageous allegations. I know it's hard to pick up over the internet but sarcasm can still be used on these public forums, I think you know where I was being sarcastic and where I wasn't, atleast I hope your that smart.

All I have to say about the working out thing is take a look at that picture of Beckham in that milk ad, he looks mal nourished and famined. Take a look at a cornerback or receiver in the NFL(similar style athlete) they are jacked.

For the endurance thing, get over it, if I wanna see endurance i'll watch the Boston Marathon. Watching dudes run up and down a field for 90+ minutes just doesn't intrigue me. For the same reason I don't watch baseball unless the indians are doing good or it's a good playoff/world series game. It just bores me. I played soccer in elementary school, I kept getting red cards because I was "too physical". Halfbacks, full backs, wing men, I get the game, it just doesn't get me too hyped up. It's ok, I am allowed to have that opinion without the soccer-nazi's coming out of the wordwork to attack me and my credibility.

By the way, College football is where it is at. Nothing beats the pomp and atmosphere of a big time college football game, there is nothing like it that draws out that kind of passion in people. Having said that, nothing beats watching the pure talent and skill these guys in the nfl have, it just gets to me how every fucking thing has a fucking plug or alterior motive behind it. It is starting to invade college football more and more now too which I hate. Papa Johns stadium...? How the fuck do you name your field after Papa Johns?!?! I think louisville is a good upstart program but they lose credibility with that one. What would happen if they tried to rename Ohio Stadium Huntington Field, or the big house Ford Stadium. People would go ape shit.

That's cool you play soccer, but this thread wasn't about soccer hating it was about football loving, so I am glad that one fruity dude(no offense) started his own thread where you guys can talk about soccer and we can discuss the most visceral game on earth here instead of debating the merits of soccer and football, which was fun for a minute but is kind of played out and getting repetative now.
