WII vs. PS3 vs. Xbox 360

xbox came out a while ago, ps3 came out a few eeks ago and wii JUST came out most recently.

personally, i am buying a WII. and i am going to get RedSteel and Zelda with it.

Personally, I think all 3 of those, buy them in any order, I don't care, is a waste of money. Paying $250-$600 on something that costs them $25 to produce? No thanks, I don't like ebing ripped off.

Plus it's not my thing to play it often enough. My 2cents.

I also want a Wii, but if you're gonna play Red steel, then you might want to consider renting it. It's supposed to suck soo bad. A very bad example of what the Wii can do. On another note, the Wii is getting a lot of free national publicity as I've seen it on about 3 or 4 news programs thus far. It seems that nintendo may get what they want and finally get older folks to get into gaming.

Actually you're dead wrong. I'm not sure about the Wii, but I know for sure that the PS3 is getting sold and a loss of around 2-3 hundred bucks. There's a cost-analysis company out there who figured out how much it would take to build a PS3 and they claimed that if it was being sold on it's own (not as a gaming console), it would have a sticker price of over a grand. Someone see if they can find it.

I could go buy one right now, but I have hit a Roor before and I choose not to spend that much money on something that doesn't appeal to me. People get bum hurt when others express their opinions on it, and the first thing they say is, "oh, sorry you can't afford one" It's not that I can'[t afford one, I guess I'm just not dumb enough to buy a name brand, for a $300 that ciost the copmany maybe $25 in glass to produce. Smart over stupid, that's all it is.

I want a wii to play bowling. Don't know how much physical interaction I'll be able to take though. Video games were for chilling out not exercising. Anyway, If the remote performs very well based on actual body motion then maybe it will be awesome.

Personally, the Wii appeals the most to me. Yeah, the graphics and all may not be as great as the PS3 or Xbox 360, but the controllers and games for it make it my choice. I tend to play for the games and interaction, not for the unnecessary features and upgrades the 360 and PS3 come with. Plus, the Wii is much cheaper.

yeah i agree.. i mean look at how much the ps2's, xbox's and gamecubes cost when they first came out.. im just gonna stick to my ps2 and xbox for now until they drop the price down to an acceptble price.. anyways, i know a mate who has a 360.. why buy one when i can just play his? lol

We have an awesome HD tv at my house but ill only be living there for about 6 more months so its not really worth it to me. Ill stick with the classics for now

my friend has the wii, and on a plasma HD 1080 its pretty sweet. but i have to say id go with 360, ive always liked xbox since the start, plus i dont like the playstation controllers at all.

but for 250, the wii is a really fun platform to play, its more arcade kinda i think because you get more into the game with friends.. but there has been ALOT of cases of accidents check out a site someone showed before on here www.wiihaveaproblem.com but you have to be an idiot to lose the grip of the controller unless you are wasted haha
