Essential nutes? long time smoker, first time grower. i ordered some seeds and while i'm waiting for em to come and planning a tight setup i thought i might try to germinate a few bag seeds i have and see what i can conjure up w/the cheapest, most stripped down, basic setup possible (something along the lines of bodom's rubbermaid thing). i know i'll need light, air & water, but how necessary are 'nutes' if i'm growing from soil? and if they are necessary what's the cheapest thing i can get that'll do the job?
