That was Dr. Mehmet Oz, a highly respected cardio-thoracic surgeon and author--and one of the great heroes of the cardiology and health world.

Being lean helps male "endowment" in a couple of ways. Not only by eliminating the fat pad in the groin but also by helping keep testosterone levels nice and high. Testosterone is a muscle-binding hormone. The more muscular and lean guys are, the higher their testosterone levels. Hence the more impressive they are size-wise and erection-firmness wise, too. Estrogen is a fat-binding hormone. Which is fine in women. That's why we naturally have a bit more body fat. But in men, extra fatty tissue means they have higher levels of estrogen in their bodies than they ought to have. And that keeps them from being their best in the areas of endowment and erectile function.

I think if more mean realized this, they'd work harder at keeping themselves in better shape. The same is true for smoking. It's the number one killer of erectile function. But still people continue to smoke . . . .
