What strain to grow? People who have grown Cinderella 99 in here!

Well I'm interested in growing very soon (next few weeks). I have a friend who has a MJ card :rasta: and he can pretty much get any strain he wants from the State of Oregon. So I'm going to be getting some clones or seeds from the Oregon seed bank or from his personal Non-medical strains, for a first time grower and only having a limited about of space to grow, 2 X 2 X 3 meter grow box and using either a single HPS (depends on how much I could get them) or a few 100 watt cfl's. My two strains are this:

Lowryder, only thing that really appeals to me about this is the quick growing time, easy to grow, but the yield and potency of the bud turns me away from the grow.

The next strain I really want to grow is Cinderella 99, I read up about it and the thing that turns me to this is the smell of the plant is faint, they say it smells like citrus or lemon scent while growing and it is easy to grow, I get skeptical of this because I don't know the difficulty of growing it will be. I need some help on people with experience of growing this strain.

c99 is supposed to be very easy to grow, easy to clone aswell, and very good smoke. i was gonna get some seeds but i decided to stop growing.

I had 2 rather damaged C-99 seeds. One grew. She smells exactly like pink grapefruit! The (now late) mites liked her last grow, but otherwise she's been fine. I just keep taking cuttings and grow her out and take another cutting. She's a bit dumpy looking, but has large, fat buds.

So it would be easy for a starter to grow from just reading online guides and FAQ's. Also could I grow it with just sine FTL's? or Do I need to invest some money in some HPS? I'm thinking of starting with some lowryders, then sell the shit to buy some HPS lights since they are like 150-200 bucks. What was the yeild like on em?

depends on how much you invest and how long you grow it. A bigger light will grow bigger buds. you need good nutes. additives help.

get a goddam hps anyone even remotely intrested in serious growing should use an hps your yield would at least double

bud's right get a hps its so worth the money. ive just closed down my grow coz of the old bill (police) but as soon as i start again im going hydro and hps all the way. its actually a blessing that i had to close it all down coz now i can save up and do every thing properly now any way there are all ways cheap hps lights about that are pretty good get one of them and your set my friend take care i hope it all goes well happy new year!

I am currently growing C99...it has a very fruity odor,VERY long arms!,it is a fast flowering sativa,grows pretty easy has been known to be a nitrogen hog.im currently in flower and it appears i will need to pik up a nitrogen supplement.this is not the best strain for indoors even in a room the size of mine(it gets quite bushy and grows outward as much as upward) i would certainly not suggest it for a cabinet set up.
