    Sex, more inborn or chosen?

You don't really get it until you really think about it. And orgasm might be awesome, but it isn't the best thing in the world. So is having sex more inborn or chosen thinking? It lasts for about 25-30 minutes, then it is over. Doesnt really sound worth it considering the STD's today and risk of pregnacy.

Maybe it is just me idk.

If you are married, this really doesn't apply. It is mainly just talking about sex between people that you aren't in a relationship with.

I think sex is 100% inborn. not because all species are driven to do it in some form

as you said, the HIV thing

Why would someone not use a condom in a risky hiv situation?
    for a little more sensation...

and i've also though about what you said. it really is illogical to have all this sex that risks pregnancy and disease because there is such little reward.
    No itâ??s really not

yet people are so strongly drawn to do it.

thats why i think it's inborn

Whats a condom have to do with this? Plus sex without a condom is like riding a rollercoaster without the restraints. A hell of a good time.

    chosen of course.

I'm not entirely sure I understand your terms, but if I do: By inborn you mean our biological drive for sex. Sure that exists, and it factors heavily into our evolutionary history. But in modern society people have sex for pleasure rather than reproduction, and in fact often block the ability to reproduce through contraception.

Similarly, the orgasm is not the goal of sexual activity either. Sex can be an amazing bonding experience between two people that doesn't involve a "race to the finish". Sex can last beyond 30 mins... definately.

I'd say the risk of STD's and pregnancy is more a reflection of the people you're choosing to spend time with, rather than the activity itself.

    I completly agree!!
And I think your middle paragraph pretty much sums up the piont of sex and intimacy.
