That movie is an amazing and fucked up movie. It is REALLY REALLY good, but man some of the scenes in that movie I have to turn my head away and plug my ears. Good movie for sure.

Might as well watch Requiem For a Dream while your at it!

Edward Norton earned my respect as an actor when he played the role in that flic.
But I have been to prison here in California where that movie took place and I watched the peckerwoods closely {as I am white and do not take to the term "Peckerwood" but had to roll with them or die} and it just was not like that at Chino when I was there all those times I violated my parole. No-one was getting gang raped in the showers or anywhere, although a good beating would happen in there all the time. I have tossed that beating in the showers but I would never bugger a guy anywhere not to mention in prison.
Most everyone in prison is going home and they aint queer unless they went in that way.
Remember it is a movie about a fictional tale even if it is based on fact.
Good movie, yes. Touchy subject, yes.
