what is unique about where you live

We have salt-water beaches, all kinds of ethnic foods, art, 400 years of history and other culture. We're close to Manhattan - which we refer to as the "City".

I'm planning to go to Manhattan and shoot some pictures of the holiday displays from Macy's, Lord & Taylor's, and other good spots, and post them here. Macy's display, on 34th Street, is awesome this year - I saw it yesterday.

Hell yeah! My hometown put a McD's right out of business too, while the hole-in-the wall yoghurt shop on one side and the gourmet pizza by the slice place on the other side consistently have lines out the door! Hell yeah.

I lived in Chicago(actually Naperville) for a few years when I was 17-19. Two things I really miss is the Pizza and Italian Beef. We've got a place out here in the Silicon Valley called Pizza Chicago that was supposedly started by a couple guys who were originally from Gino's East. Still, it's not quite the same. And forget about finding a good Italian Beef.

Silicon Valley? Yeah, you are a little bit far, but if you ever find yourself in Orange County, you can find a Portillo's there where you would be able to get an authentic Italian beef. I think it's in Anaheim or somewhere near Disney. YUM!!

Many of the Italian gourmet Salumerias here have delicous home-cooked beef. At $3.50 a half lb., it's a bargain.

The pizza (which I can't eat)- Fuhgetaboutit!

our pot laws up here are so fuckin liberal, just the other day in town at the mall a cop was going thru a car pulled out a few big bags of pot, after checking the person out with their med card, he gave the pot back and everybody went on their own way.

    gotta luv it!

old timers love to talk about "humboldt" buds
Love is patient and kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres

Boston is where it's at, man. I fuckin love this city. Im actually right outside the city, walking distance to the T. Some of the coolest bars ever, the best music scene you're gonna find just about anywhere. This place has so much history and culture, you cant walk anywhere without finding some sort of historical landmark, or famous bar, or just plain beatiful architechture. Im close to some really nice beaches and within an hour drive of some world class snowboarding. And also my beloved Red Sox and Bruins and Patriots are here.
