A Comment on the Reputation System

now that i have sat back and watched members use this system it is nothing but shit, i dont hang around the lounge to much and see members with tons of rep......

now go into the grow section, the section this rep system should only be used for and take a look........some of our best growers here have shit for rep...why??

this system should be used in the grow section of the board only, anyone can give bad advice by mistake and kill plants with rep points up the ass, but lets say me, i told someone what to do and i knew i was right but they wouldnt do it, because i have no rep points...............you should figure out better how to use this system, it as of now serves no purpose other than a fashion statement.

You want to see another place where bad advice is given? The drug testing section and sometimes the medical section. In the drug testing section some of the advice is absolutely wrong and horrible and what makes it worse is the people that leave the bad advice don't give a shit that people's jobs or probation and freedom or even child custody is on the line. It is not all about fooling your parents and their instant drug tests. They make statements that are absolutely wrong scientifically or they want to post things they have heard but never tried or just because they passed a test they want to guess why they passed and pass this info along as fact or the talk about how "well my cousin twice removed friend's girlfreind did this." Then when you point out why what they said is wrong or doesn't work because they don't understand how the testing works or how the human body works, 90% of the time their response is an immature insult instead of an intelligent debate defending what they said. A dead plant is truly a tragedy but what is a bigger tragedy is when people don't know what they are talking about and then make a statement like it is a fact, either in the grow section or drug testing section.

There does seem to be a lot of glitches with this system. I can't find the option to turn off the rep points anywhere.
