Global Marijuana March 2007 Dublin
So we should sit back and do nothing? Bullshit. The UN convention on narcotics is the biggest obstacle but groups are challenging it. If enough Irish people were pissed off about the war on drugs there would be impetus on Ireland to reject it as well. I'm not happy with the way things are, I'm fed up being prosecuted for making the rational choice to use a safer drug than alcohol. At least I'm trying to do something...*shrugs*

Global Marijuana March 2007 Dublin Hey guys, the Centre for Cannabis Policy Reform Ireland (www.ccpr.ie) is organising the first protest march in Irish history on the 7th of May in Dublin (possibly Cork if there is enough interest). I think it's a better approach than the tired J-Day format, which results in little more than getting arrested. Properly organised, this could open the door to proper events in the future. After all, J-Day itself is supposed to be the Irish version of a Seattle Hempfest or whatever, it's just a Rating: 5
