I'm not Kiel but I am a member of CCPR :-) A properly organised and well attended march would not make any difference to policy but, it would be the first time any official form of dissent against the laws took place, which no politician here has had to deal with as yet.

I'm going to try and cover everything you said if I can remember :-) As for Eoin Ryan, if the possibility of being sued by lung cancer victims is the 'main' obstacle to legalisation we have very little work to do! There has never been an incidence of lung cancer in a marijuana-only smoker. The facts are on our side, that is why this 'war' is so winnable. As Bill Hicks said, we're already winning the war on drugs remember?

And yes, recreational and medical use are seperate issues, but if you pass medical use, people will realise that the dangers of cannabis aren't as bad as they were told. That's one way of looking at it.

Of course a march isn't going to do much but it's a step in the right direction. Get the issue in the papers and get our arguments out there.

yaaaaaaaaaaa.. keep it lit... sueing is probly the oiney way for them to take responsibilty. if the cunts wer held accountable for ther choices.. then half if not 99 . 9 percent of all politicans would be in prison...its a buissness and they all make big mistakes.. yet i have to pay for them...i shouyld be able to buy ten spliffs after work and go home and get some lovin happy... not have to ask a dealer then be very late gettting home.. its not fair.. and its dangerous to our wellbeing...

thanks for that Land of drought I'll be sure to let you all know.fingers crossed I get no fine .

as regards to the march, I just hope that not only the usuaul suspects, the crusties, show up, but feckers in business suits as well. The hippy aspect throws people of the seriousness, no disprect meant, im an aging hippy soul myself. But if im goin o march im not going in a reggae t-shirt and jeans, im suiting up, look like I mean business.LOL.I think people have the perspective that marchers are all unemployed students, living off trust funds.
I wish to fuck, we could have folks marching in postal uniforms, nurses, gaurds etc. Course I know it will never happen. Be nice though.
