overturned boat shaped leaves?
indeed repotting can fix your problems. i had a big female vegged for 3 months under 6 40w cfls and my soil was too dense from the beginning. the plant almost died because the roots couldnt breathe...so i mixed some new soil up, about 50% organic soil mix and the other half perlite. she took off after that and now shes in week 7 of flower. no camera though.

roots showing at the bottom of the pot is not something to be concerned about, and it doesnt mean the plant is rootbound.
however it would probably help to repot with a soil with better drainage but as per the leaves it looks like nutrient burn could be from the soil if you havent used any fertilizers.

Ya know, I'd repot it into a very slightly bigger pot with REALLY light medium- like 50% perlite- and see if you get any improvement. But that's just me. You'd be surprised how much a re-pot can do to help your -um- pot...
