Now there's nothing growing in my yard Cuz the cops took all my land and both my cars. Now I have to buy my pot - From a teen-ager in a parking lot Who's growing marijuana in his yard.

Anyone can grow it in their yard I could show you how, it ain't hard. Never mind the president, Let's overgrow the government. And all grow marijuana in our yards.

Damn, Dropey, you let the cat out of the bag! hehe j/k I just found that song a couple weeks ago and I've played it over and over. I like it. Pretty country but, hey, it's about weed! I was planning on possibly using that music as a background for a slideshow I plan to make at the end of the current grow log. I still might do it. It's a good song. Maybe someone should make one that says, "I'm growing marijuana in my CLOSET!" lol

Ya it is a little country but Im use to country. There is alot of Bluegrass played where I live. I think my fav. part of the song is, And I said, Hey, man, what is it to you? For you maybe. Country and Bluegrass is what I grew up on. There are some good country songs out there. I remeber on a hot summer day going outside and my family would have watermelon, cantalope, and mamaws famous homemade strawberry ice cream, fried chicken, potato salad the works. Good times. And we would sit out side under a tree dad would play the gutair and papaw played the banjo. Sometimes some of there friends would come and they would play bluegrass. I dont listen to much anymore but when some of those old country songs come on like some of Hank Williams Jr and a few more I cant remeber I cant help but drift off to good memories.

It seems more folksy than country to me. It's okay to like folk music. It's almost... retro... to like that.
