um, the screen makes it taste bad? try soaking it in rubbing alchohol for a little bit and burning the liquid off and try again with one small hit, if that doesnt work then i suggest you smoke w/o a screen, it wont hurt nothin.

You can use a metal screen for the time being, but if it is an all glass piece, but yourself a few glass screens. Using a metal screen in a glass piece kind of defeats the purpose of using glass in the first place. In the end, you'll still be smoking, and tasting metal.

Get your bowl nice and resiny though as glass screens in brand new bowls that are smooth and clean, thend to fall out all the time, so get get it sticky so it stays in there good.

I use glass screens in all glass pieces and they never fall out. Once you get some sticky resin buildup on there, it stays put really good.

first of all can we get a look at what the g spot steamroller looks like? a pic always helps.

second, i never use screens and im a bong man. ive never heard of people using a glass pipe with a screen, even a glass screen. so like the rest said i would try smoking nugs and resin up the bowl so that by the time you buy a glass screen, yes glass nothing else, by the time your bowl is resined up you wont need a screen or anything.

Thanks for the help, i ordered a glass piece that goes in the hole as a screen so that should solve my problem untill the pipe gets some resin on it.

one tric i found with metal screens is to heat with a lighter till red hot for like 5 min. then soak in rubbing alchohol. they taste just fine
