sure, but it all depends on how close you put them... maybe a waste of light right now though

Putting those two small plants under a 1000 watter is overkill at this point. You can do it if you keep the light far enough away, but a lot of wasted energy. I would keep them under flourescents till they get to be at least 12 inches tall.

Will this work?
I would love to leave them under flourescents more, but I don't want to waste too much time. And, I don't want to pay that much on electricity.
Could I go from flourescents to the flowering stage under the big lights. Say maybe 2 or 3 more weeks?
It does seem like a waste of light.
Thank you so much for responding to my post.
I will be around.

Sure, though one of the fluor experts will help more with the best wattage. A 250W metal halide would be perfect for one month of veg. 1000W for flowering just two girls is overkill too, you'd do excellently with a 400W HPS lamp.
If you're going to use 1000W for flowering, you might as well have ten plants since the electricity bill is going to be the same either way.

HI RAH..
nice posse you got!
YES.... start at 24 inches and every day move the light closer.. watch leaves carefully and make sure you have a fan!!
and turn the fan on too
and if you are going to be using HID you will need bigger pots that can hold more SOIL/MOisture for your plants (at least 1-3 gallons)..
a 1000watt HID can dry your shit out faster than your ladies poon after she finds out that you done did her SISTER....

Hi,
I just got a new shipment of seeds and can plant more.
Does this make sense: I am wondering if I should top the two plants I have to slow them down, and wait for some new seeds to catch-up. Then I could flower them at the same time. Then I would not waist so much electricity.
Thanks for the help so far.

Makes sense, not a strange thought at all. Though They probably want to reach 4-6 nodes first.
