Legalize the hipp ylettuce once and for all. Use the money to get kids off of messageoards and into after school knitting programs...

You can get a man to give up his most prized possession.. but he will never part with his misery, self pity and hate.

This quote rocked my world because it is more true than anything I have ever read before. I know it to be true from my own hating but I am not miserable nor do I dwell in a pool of self pity. Although I have a friend that fits that bill to a T and what is worse is that his life is not that bad at all.
My life is sweet, I do not work a regular job and my bills are paid plus I have a neverending supply of weed. How much better can a life be? Not much I tell you.

of course leave it to the gorvernment to legalize for all the wrong reasons...all they want is to add a check to the income....

do you think the ends would justify the means in this situation? weed gets legalized and the economy prospers at the expense of doing it for the "wrong reasons"...it sounds good now but either one or all of these scenarios is likely in my mind if in the future legalization in the US does go through:

    a) the money saved and profit earned will be put towards things like military and genome splicing etc

    and/or

    b) AS IF the government will take on the current pricing system of weed. A gram will be like $20 and you won't save money for buying larger quantities, because what are we gonna do about it? We are the market, and the government or a government-owned company will be the new "dealer." The only difference is that they don't care if people are outraged with the price, they will most likely be the sole supplier and therefore screw us over

    and/or

    c) the weed will be shittier and full of addictive toxins. Cigarettes weren't always this unhealthy you know..if weed is legalized and the same addictive quantities are added to the herb, the government now has a real platform for saying weed is addictive (though it'd be their fault, but plotholes are the governments specialty ) and they now also have a revenue that can match cigarette and alcohol sales which is huge. Once they get that revenue, they will not want to lose it, and thus, we will be subjected to toxic-added dope for the rest of our lives. you might say, "well if that happens then drug dealers will just start dealing again and will get more business!"..and that may happen, but do you see Cigarette dealers selling you cheaper smokes with no added chemicals??

ps when did we get these! -- :rastasmoke:
