    Best way to adjust Ph?

I've been having major stunting problems and I think I might have finally stumbled on the answer. I was using that Ph down and Ph up for aquariums to adjust, but just read where that stuff contains too much salt and not to use it on plants. So, I'm wondering how much baking soda for up or how much vinegar for down I should try in a certain amount of water to adjust Ph. I'm thinking severe lock-out by now. What's the scoop on that Ph deal?

Go to your local hydro store and get some phosphoric acid for PH down. It is not expensive. I don't know what they have for UP since I never need it, but ask and they will tell.

Not sure what they use for Ph up, but just go into the store and ask for ph up and ph down. The stuff is super concentrated, you need about a drop to get the ph to shift....

    Best way to adjust Ph?

There are no hydo shops or even garden shops anywhere near here. I went to the website for that aquarium Ph down ,the stuff I was using. After a lot of searching (I think they 're trying to protrect a trade secret by making the info hard to find?) I found out Ph down is actually sulfuric acid and a hazardous substance. That can't be good. I'm gonna flush my babies a lot with RO and never use that shit again. I have had no luck with this. I'm seriously thinking about just trashing the whole op and starting over. Sulfuric acid? Christ, that shit is fucking lethal! Now it's in my grow.Fuck! Salts my ass. I wish it was just that.

Well the fish seem to do just fine with it so it can't be that toxic and I can gaurantee you fish are a lot more sensitive to toxins than you are. It isn't meant for plants tho; I read something about too many salts which screws up the EC of your nutrient solution. I'd flush with Flora Kleen or something if you're worried although I read about several people on this website who use aquarium water to water their plants. And if you have access to a hydro website order some ph down/up. Be better than using another thing not made for that and trashing your whole operation.
