Ahhhh I can't stop collecting seeds!!!!

I have noticed that many growers are really into seeds. My online growing friends are nuts about seeds .... it's like they can't get enough .... what do you do with all those seeds? Do you grow them all? How many varieties do you need? Not that it's a bad thing mind you, but isn't the potency about the same .... just the favor is different?

I don't know of anything other than wine or ice cream where there are so many varieties.

You don't keep them all do you? I mean grow them out and keep a female for cloning .... just the ones you really like right?

And you have a passion for breeding as well I take it? That's why so many different seeds to mix, match and share?:stoned:

I collected 90% of the seeds from my the good bags i've gotten over the years. Now i've started to grow them. at first it started as a just to see if I could, now i find myself growing them just because i can and it's something to do and that i will be able eventually enjoy the fruits of my labor. My known vareties have been big bud, hashberry, speedqueen and some sagarmartha mix that i got for free with an order. Other then that it's anyone's guess as to what i've got in my box.

Hells yeah!!!! When I'm overstuffed in the grow room I just pop 3 of each type and expect at least 1 female to hang on to. Then I still have 7 seeds left in case it rocks my socks.

Nah potency is all over the map... my lowest is Purple Star at a lame assed 6%, but I'm growing her for the genetic material...

Well since I only pop 1/3 of the seeds when they come, I always have backups. I don't keep all varieties as mothers, but the ones that have an interesting trait I keep not only a female but also a male if he is really a special guy.
