Quickie Update (Update with Pics tonight)

Neville's Haze #1=(24days old) 8" x 12" Normal growth.

Neville's Haze #2= (24days old) 6" x 10" No real growth on this one because of a mutation (I will add to the mutation thread tonight). Weird growth came out of the center where the new nodes usually grow which has prevented any new nodes, but the plant is compensating for this by growing on her sides.

Neville's Haze #3= (24 days old) 9" x 12" Normal growth so far.

Neville's Haze #3= (24 days old) 8" x 12" Normal growth.

HP13=(age unknown) 3.5" x 3.5" working on 4th set of leaves.

Afghani=(age unknown) 4.5" x 8" Her leaves are looking magnificent and her growth seems healthy.

Crystal= 58 days old and 27th day of flowering she has developed quite a cola and the buds are growing nicely on her off shoots.

Jody= 12th day of forced flowering and already plenty of white pistils. She's developing her flowers quite different than Crystal and is already nearly Crystal's height but a bit wider.

Olivia= 3rd day of forced flowering and still no sign of sex.

Gail=2nd day of forced flowering and is showing signs of sex....it's a GIRL!

Three beans from my Safari Mix were planted in soil last night.

Still no beans from Dr.Chronic!

Ok, now I'm absolutely confused. Can those ball shaped bumps I thought were ball sacs actually be pistils?

Sometimes you may mistake a calyx for a male flower.
The differences are simple though.
Male flowers always grow in clusters and have little short stems under them.
Calyxes grow singly at first, and sit snug at the node, no stem.
Calyxes will sprout pistils about 1-3 days after appearance.
This is why I don't throw out males until I clearly see that the balls are on stems.

Heya KindPrincess! You're right, Sophie wasn't a hermie....she was a full blown male! LOL....she's long dead now (and I'm still not over it ) but all's well that ends well because so far I have four females to one male, not too shabby! Thanks and updates to come real soon. Peace.
