HiPro's first grow log!
Quick Update:
Crystal is doing very well...on her 4th day of being forced to flower. She's 15inches tall.
Jody is quadrupled in size. Although she is Afghani, she's starting to smell like a dead skunk...lol. Her fan leaves look glossy and greasy. I think she'll be the more potent than Crystal just from her look and smell.
Gail is looking a little sickly. I've had to prune two of her fan leaves because they turned crispy and orange. She didn't take to her transplant too well, probably because I transplanted her into a different soil than what she was originally in. Her new growth is looking good so far, so there is still a chance that she'll survive.
Olivia was not only crippled but I also dropped her pot! She's certainly the runt of the pack but I think she'll make it...still keeping my fingers crossed anyhow.
Sophie is coming along just fine. Her color is georgeous.
All five Neville's haze beans that I germinated popped and were planted in soil yesterday. One's come up from dirt today. Can't wait to see how these little buggers turn out. Peace and Merry Christmas. Please trip them gently, they don\'t like to fall, oh by jingo. There\'s no room for anger, we\'re all very small, oh by jingo. We\'re painting our faces and dressing in thoughts from the skies, paradise, oh by jingo. Won\'t someone invite them? They\'re just taller children, that\'s all, afterall. Some march together and some on their own, quite alone. Others are running, the smaller ones crawl but some sit in silence, they\'re just older children, that\'s all.

Thanks TheGreenFog...I appreciate your comments.
Update:
Crystal is on her 10th day of flowering and so far she's accumulating a lot of little white hairs. She has more bud spots than I can count and she looks as though she's going to be a high yielder. She's now 22 inches tall at 41 days old.
Jody- I had a slight problem with Jody, she didn't take to her nutes too well and I gave her nute burn. I had to prune 8 dead fan leaves. The pruning stunted her growth for a couple of days, but at day 23 she's now 11inches tall. She has plenty of living leaves and her new growth seems to be doing well. I'm actually amazed at how bushy she still is and I'm thinking that the pruning has proved beneficial.
Gail-Because I transplanted her into different soil than what she started in, she too had to be pruned. 5 Fan leaves died. She's making a good recovery since I started her on some nutes. She's a bit behind her sister and not nearly as bushy. I'm thinking she's starting to develop like a male...but I'll keep my fingers crossed. She's now 7inches tall at day 23.
Sophie- She has turned out to be a wonderful surprise! She is incredibly bushy, so much so that I can barely see her stem. I planted her in a much smaller pot than her sisters, but she's getting on quite well. She loves her nutes and is now 6inches tall at day 23. Here's hoping that she's a female! Oh, and she smells something fierce.
Olivia- I'm so proud of Olivia. I crippled her as a sprout and later dropped her pot, but my God, she's pulled through. Of course she's still the runt, but she is now working on her 6th set of true leaves....this without the help of her cotyledons. She's small but I have a feeling I'm only going to have good results with her.
And in my nursery:
I have successfully germinated 4 Neville's haze beans. They were planted in their soil on Christmas eve and at day 7 they all have their second set of true leaves. I have named them Tori, Abby, Melissa and Miranda...lol....They are a wonderful dark green color. In my germinating mechanism I have one giant bagseed that's working on a mighty fine looking tap root. I will plant it in soil on New Year's day. THANKS FOR READING. PICTURES TO FOLLOW TONIGHT!Please trip them gently, they don\'t like to fall, oh by jingo. There\'s no room for anger, we\'re all very small, oh by jingo. bump:
For my next grow I have ordered the following beans:
Pure Power Plant
Afghani (just like it I guess)
Master Kush
Jack Herer Hybrid Hybride
Skunk #1
If anyone has any experience with these strands any info or helpful hints to help my endeavour is much appreciated. Please trip them gently, they don\'t like to fall, oh by jingo. Ok...finally some pics:
Picture #1 is my grow room set up with only one of my 400watters running.
Picture #2 are my sprouts. The one on the far side is one day up from dirt and she's another Afghani...yummy. The others are Neville's Haze.
Picture #3 This is Gail. Notice the dead leaves on the bottom after a botched transplant...I have learned the hard way not to transplant into different soil.
Picture #4 This is Sophie and her badass self. Not the greatest picture but hey...she's doing great. Also a plug for my good friends down in PA. (sorry mods)
Picture #5 This is Jody. Notice the bottom leaves are nute burned...she was my great white hope but since I've pruned her immensely, I'm not sure how she'll turn out.
Ok....Crystal will be out of darkness in a few so I'll have more pics soon. Peace. Please trip them gently, they don\'t like to fall, oh by jingo. Thank you Kindprincess.
Just a quick question: Is it common for leaves to start dying during the flowering period? Thanks and Peace!

perfectly normal, they usually start turning yellow in the fourth week of flower. the plant takes nitrogen from the leaves to use for making buds.
