Splifted Reviewed by Splifted on 01-10-2007. HiPro's first grow log! Well guys I've finally decided to start my first grow log. I have two strains, one seed from a good bag I had and some seeds from Dr. Chronic which are Afghan. I chose Afghan because Stinky Attic recommended it as a good strain for first time growers. Let me say that Dr. Chronic is the bomb! Seeds came in a business envelope 7 days after I ordered them. I started the bagseed 15days ago. For the bagseed I decided to use "Martha Stewarts Potting Soil" and an old Halloween candy bucket Rating: 5

Nope, still no beans, but it's only been 13days, plus there was the whole New Years day holiday and the Gerald Ford funeral that stopped the mail, so, I should get them real soon! Thanks for stopping by. It's a pleasure to help as I've been helped on here as well, just returning the favor! Peace!

Now I'm worried. I ordered some beans from Dr. Chronic on the 28th of December and they still haven't come in yet! I also ordered a Safari Mix from Dr. Chronic on Jan. 3. The Safari Mix came in today's mail. Should I give up on the other beans? Arghh....Peace!

Today is a sad, sad day! Got me my first hermie: Sophie/Sophocles. So the results of my small-potted Afghani experiment are in- small pot=Hermie!
I'm still trying to come to terms with the fact that I have to kill my favorite plant. A thorough update to come tonight! Peace.

Ok, now I'm absolutely confused. Can those ball shaped bumps I thought were ball sacs actually be pistils? Last night I was certain that I had a hermie, but today, when I switched shim over for flowering, I noticed a white pistil beginning to poke through the "ball" sac. Is this possible? I mean, do pistils come out of ball sacs with hermies or?? Thanks for the help. Peace.

Transplanted another Afghani today.

Praying my other beans from Dr.Chronic come in todays post.

Started Olivia on flowering today at day 35.

Neville's Haze Sprout #1= (20 days old) 6" x 9"
Neville's Haze Sprout #2= (20 days old) 4.5" x 9"
Neville's Haze Sprout #3= (20 days old) 8" x 10"
Neville's Haze Srpout #4= (20 days old) 6" x 10"

My youngest Afghani (Carly)= 4" x 6" (lost track of age)

HP13- One bean never broke through soil and one seedling is now 2.5" high working on second set of leaves. (a bit stretched)

Crystal, Jody and Olivia are flowering. Crystal is producing some beautiful buds. Jody is gather all kinds of pistils and still no sign of sex with Olivia on day 2 of flowering.

Sophie who turned out to be Sophocles was murdered last night.
