I'd actually agree with Matt and say its you that missed the point. Your first post was ridiculous, it's perfectly acceptable and sane for an individual to not fear death without rushing towards it. Just as its coherent to not want to sacrifice one's life for a cause that one doesn't believe in.
I'd agree with what you said about hijacking the thread and remind you that the topic was death, which has nothing to do with one's willingness to be on the front lines.

I've experienced that, and it was indicative of all the superlatives that are attributable it. Actual death. I'm not afraid to die, as I believe that it is an inevitabilty that none of us can evade. I don't know what happens next in terms of 'existence'. The afterlife, reincarnation, and all other ideology doesn't sit too well with me. However, Rating: 5
