Our brains shut down and all our organs will cease to function and we wont know we don't exist. We'll just be gone. Nothingness isn't nothingness, we're just dead. There is no big explanation about it. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm right. I can't be criticized for having an opinion about something no one that's reading this has experienced. I know this because anyone who has experienced authentic death wouldn't be here to read or reply to this post. The more you accept the possibility that death is the end of everything for us the easier it'll be when the time comes for us to face it.
I want to think that too, but how do we grasp the concept of nothingness if we're dead.
Its so trippy though. We've lived with our conscience our whole life thinking that we'd die with it but would be able to tell the difference between life and death once our brains and hearts stopped working? If you say we can't then in otherwords, we won't know when we die because we wouldn't be alive to be able to recognize being dead. You will realize you're dying but I don't think we'll know when we're actually dead. You're right though once we're dead we're gone, thats the end of life.
