Death
In terms of human existence and the history of the world, our lives are VERY short.
70-80 years ain't shit in the grand scheme of things. Live every day with a ferocity that will make those years memorable. Its a Plant Reviewed by Its a Plant on . Death What must it be like to die? A morbid and sinister topic of discussion, I know, but I really want to know. I'm not talking about near-death. I've experienced that, and it was indicative of all the superlatives that are attributable it. Actual death. I'm not afraid to die, as I believe that it is an inevitabilty that none of us can evade. I don't know what happens next in terms of 'existence'. The afterlife, reincarnation, and all other ideology doesn't sit too well with me. However, Rating: 5

I think people say life is short because when you really take the time to honestly look at where you're at you will think..damn, where did that time go? I mean I can remember some shit as if it was yesterday and I thought some good times would never end. But these past years seem to have went by so fast.

But death is not an experience if you have no conciousness of it.

That's where the arguements start as far as what happens after death . .
For all we know, we could very well be aware of what's going on. We need body and soul to live, but maybe when we die, our body is the only thing that goes away, leaving our soul to roam, still aware.
Everything's an experience anyways. ~

Resinate, your second post says it all , LoL I love it man.. But.. I believe in a higher being for sure, mother nature if anything. But the fact is ,like you said, all the references you hear about death, and heaven ,and a afterlife. Science has come so far, it is just hard for me to believe, I think that you die,and thats that, lifes over, fade to black.. Stay high as hell everybody ,specially on this topic, lol . I love you all ,peace.

I never said you did believe in an afterlife, but even so, you rotting in the ground for thousands of years is still longer than one's life. Lol, I'm done wit this thread. Death ain't my cup of tea.
