    Death

I think after you die your life energy might go on to occupy another earhtly form like a tree, dog, bird, plant, ect. or maybe your energy joins the cosmos and floats around in a state of perfectness.

Honestly I think we as humans having a very powerful thing called a brain and over analyzes shit not knowing that our existence is just as simple as everything else. We have so much belief on death but sometimes I really wonder does anyone really think we're any more special than animals and other living things. Honestly I think when we die, that's it. Our brains shut down and all our organs will cease to function and we wont know we don't exist. We'll just be gone. Nothingness isn't nothingness, we're just dead. There is no big explanation about it. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm right. I can't be criticized for having an opinion about something no one that's reading this has experienced. I know this because anyone who has experienced authentic death wouldn't be here to read or reply to this post. The more you accept the possibility that death is the end of everything for us the easier it'll be when the time comes for us to face it.

    Nah, I'm just kidding, obviously.

I used to think about death a lot. At one point I became paranoid of dying that I used to not sleep. I had night terrors as a child, and from there, it grew into slight paranoia. I haven't thought about death in years though. I overcame my little problem and got my head screwed on straight.

So yeah, I don't think about it unless I want to turn nutty again. I know when I do die, it was for the right reason.
I just wanna give you a massive joint and a hug after reading that.

    Death..

Well, have you ever seen someone die? It's hard to explain.. I saw my grandfather.. I've seen quite a few dead people as well.. People I knew, people my parents knew, relatives.. But I've only seen my grandfather go..

It's the breathing.. He went in his sleep, but after years of cancer BS.. Finally, he gave up.. He fell asleep and an hour later, the death growl thingy.. It looked kindof peaceful, but the sound was ICE cold.. Colder than ice.. Shivering.. When you hear that sound, you know the person is dead.

Death to me isn't that awfull.. It's the next big step..

About the afterlife, maybe it's whatever you want it to be.. Maybe it's another life.. There are BILLIONS OF BILLIONS of possibilties, you NEVER know.. Life is WAY to complex to even grasp, how could we even begin to understand death?

I want to think that too, but how do we grasp the concept of nothingness if we're dead.
Its so trippy though. We've lived with our conscience our whole life thinking that we'd die with it but would be able to tell the difference between life and death once our brains and hearts stopped working? If you say we can't then in otherwords, we won't know when we die because we wouldn't be alive to be able to recognize being dead. You will realize you're dying but I don't think we'll know when we're actually dead. You're right though once we're dead we're gone, thats the end of life.

Everyone has their own beliefs about what happens when you die. No one can say what is right and what is wrong. My personal belief is that there is some sort of universal consciousness, of which we are all a part. When we are born we "fall out" of the universal consciousness into an individuality that is called ego. When we die we rejoin the universal.

Examples of the universal consciousness in nature are when you see a flock of swallows flying and turning in unison, or schools of fish that all turn at the same time.

God is the universal consciousness, so we are all god. To quote the Beatles: "All you need is love."

i was in the army, before i went i prepared myself for the possibility of death, everyone i knew there was prepared for it, that doesnt mean we welcomed it, or that we didnt fear it, it means we were ready, now if you say youre not afraid, join the army, go to the mid east, then fucking talk to me, till then stop talking out of your ass

as for what its like to be dead, also no mystery there, 2 possibilities, either you simply cease to exist, or there is an afterlife of some kind, thats it,
Not being afraid of death and wasting your life in a pointless war are tottally different things.

True but the birds and fish don't spend hundreds of hours practising, either.
