Writing?
Some of you write...right?
Have like some little short stories or little essay you might find relevantly interesting that you could share with us? I'll post one first and depending on the response I'll post some more. I might be the only one who enjoys writing though.
My life sucks as in comparison to my lawn.
The shimmer of brown that casts off my lawn is enough to make a man my age cry.One would think the mornings fluorescent glow of sunshine could make my characterless past-time look a little less synthetic. One would be wrong then. What have I become when the only thing that enlightens my life is a stupid, absurb hobby I only took up because the doctor insisted I find something better to do then sit on my couch and reflect on something I don't even have enough fortitude to call a life.
Long mornings spent in front of the window not able to escape the sudden aspiration I seem get to make love to my neighbors daughter everytime I see her get in her car to drive away to something she claims to be a life.Am I just a horny old man or maybe jealous?
Long nights spent sitting up in my bed disputing with the depths of my consciousness I'm really not going crazy and the appalling noise thats kept me awake for 20 years is a product of something I find discomfort in calling a wife.Or maybe its her snore.
Long days spent with a family that for some reason I find myself loathing more and more each time they spend money on me in a desperate attempt to forestall the guilt they will gain when I finally die.Or is this called "love"?
A long life it has been indeed.Thank god I died yesterday.VoidLivesOn Reviewed by VoidLivesOn on . Writing? Some of you write...right? Yeah that was a product of watching About Schmidt and staying up till 4 in the morning playing Tony HAwk then finally getting around to be creative and conjure up something like that. Nuts i know.

it's great becuase i completely believed you were some old dude, feeling down. the dying grass metaphor is kinda clever. but fluorescent is hardly an appropriate word to describe natural sun light.
great stuff though. please post more.

floresent just means its really bright, but if u wanna put meaning to it like its an unatural light, maybe its a metaphor for how the life hes living is fake?...or maybe im reading to deep?
