As for Crowley, I'm not sure that he's not simply a completely warped narcissist with some thematic insights and delusions of grandeur.

I dunno, maybe he's a genius...

Dude, I've read that book over three times now, and love it. It's a very easy, and understandable read, too. Even so, there are many layers to it, and each with its own meaning...Great little book, imo.

As for Crowley...he's quite complicated, and can be very vague. Best leave Crowley alone until you're comfortable within the occult arts.

Hermetics is a good place to start, imo. The kabalion by the three initiates is a fantastic read, or I found it to be, anyway. I'm a little dim witted, and the other stuff just goes completely over my head. You may be different, orange floyd...

Love,
JunkYard Reviewed by JunkYard on . the book of lies recently, i've been studying the philosiphy of Aleister Crowley, and a lot of it seems pretty cool. I found an online version of The Book of Lies that ive been looking through, and a lot of it is very poetic and symbolic, but to be honest, i am completely baffled by it (which i've read may be due to lack of knowledge of kaballa ). anyone into thelema/aleister crowley that would be able to enlighten me about this book?
