I'm back! Enjoying a little wake and bake on Saturday morning. I have to spend the day reading papers and finals, so I must procrastinate first!

I still don't know what the little dots next to people's names mean...?
Also, how do you earn a + next to registered? I imagine it is based on number of posts, but how many?

This meeting place has so many interesting aspects. I've hung out on two other message board places (infertility and adoption) but this one has lots of fun stuff to play with

For example, are any of these sexy picture avatars of the actual people posting? Often it seems the opposite- guys with an avatar of a woman's well-displayed ass. It is fascinating to me to ponder the gender signifiers- I can usually tell whether a woman or a man wrote a particular post, but I wonder - are any people "cross posting" ???
It seems the relative safety and anonymity of posts enable us to reveal more personal information about ourselves, at least that is true for me.
I wish we could have a party sometime in the chat room- I'll bring the cookies. Let's set a time and get silly simultaneously
