Quick THIEF Question
.
So they're pulling a house down near mig, and they've got a load of junk collecting in a dumpster, amongst other things, though set to the side, 2 sets of double rows of roughly 1 meter fluors, complete with everything, just the plug chopped off. It looks like semi-junk, like they ripped it out of the ceiling and were going to throw it away, but one of the builders thought that he'd stick it to the side, just in case he decides its worth knicking.
I'm guessing thats 80W each * 2.
This would be a base for a veg room.
They probably wont be new T5 fittings, so the question is, is it worth me staying up till 02.00, and jumping over a fence and retrieving them?

Quick THIEF Question
Probably not....I am guessing one meter is four feet. Here in the states you can get a fixture like that for 8-10 dollars These are T-12's however...as long as it two lamps per fixture. The four lamp per fixtures are 40-50 USD. I guess it matters if you can spare 16.00USD for your new fixtures in your veg room/cab. Or it matters if it is T-12 (CHEAP), T-8, T-6, T-5 (more expensive) or whatever.S

You run the risk of looking like your avatar if you jump that fence.
What you did to your avatar in that electrical thread was funny as shit.

Quick THIEF Question
If it looks like they're going to be tossed in the garbage just ask someone if you can take some. What's the big deal. Either he says yes or no.

Quick THIEF Question
once it hits the dumpster, they lose intellectual and property rights on anything, BUT it becomes the property of the dumpster owner. I'd thief it outta there, junk is junk and if they threw it away, you'd be doing them a favor, right?

Quick THIEF Question
I got a bunch of HPS250s out of a dumpster recently but I asked the construction company and they not only said yeah, take them, but they gave me the 6 bulbs that they had neatly boxed up for recycling! If I hadn't been a sweeeeeeet nice girlie I would have had to buy all the bulbs!
Honesty pays off.
