What is truth, anyway?
Isn't it just a case of the human desire to find absolute knowledge?
I am, at this very time, contemplating the 'worth' of it all.
Life, and all its intricasies, is a thing that we cannot comprehend.
Spirit can be thought of as an energy.
The energy will, as with all energies, dwindle over time.
Think about this:
A person walks down a corridor twice a day, everyday, for many many years.
Would it not be reasonable to assume that the energy that person uses to walk down that corridor will be imparted into the floor and walls of that corridor?
The same consideration could be applied to a wood carving.
People often speak of feeling the spirit of the carver within the wood.
I know that my type is somewhat disjointed, but I have so many feelings and ideas about Life, the Universe, and Everything, that I often struggle to get my point across lol

Actually, I've made no assumptions about you at all. I speak from what you yourself said. "when you use the term 'we' who are you refering to, because I don't seek what you seek and I'm just one person here."

Actually, I don't think that at all, and agree that answers comes from life experience. I have no grand vision, I only know what I value in life...Because I don't sit and talk nonsensical nonsense about some grand vision dosen't mean I've made myself redundant of that shit. Who's making asuumptions here, megaoctane?
Again with the assumptions, lol! I am fully aware that what I seek is different from others, hence all the questions in OP. Btw, you think those who dream of an afterlife weak...why? Is it not something that has crossed your mind before? Are you 'strong' because you don't believe in an after life. Your reasoning makes no sense to me...What you don't realise is that what you seek and what the next person seeks is personal and not universal, weak people need to secure their place in some other imaginary afterlife.

Not much is irrelevent, imo. Every view merits consideration. Otherwise you close yourself from answers altogether...even if they can't be known. They can be experienced in subjective form, which is how we relate to reality anyway.
Science closes the gap, but it really doesn't. It just creates more questions. I see no relevence to technology at all, but fill me in if you like. I'm open to new views...

I think the truth is that there is no truth. The truth is that life is essentially meaningless. People shouldn't go about their life looking for meaning from the outside world because it isn't there. All you can find in the outside world is coping mechanisms. Religion, intoxication, power. Only the individual can truley know what is good for them. People just need to live life and enjoy it for what it is, a crazy rollercoaster ride you only get once. Ride it to the end

You a tough guy? Are you walking on your hands? Cause it sounds like you're talking out of your ASS. Heart of stone.
imp:
I totally don't understand this accusation? If it's true that you will fade into nothingness, what's to be afraid of? At least it won't hurt like it does here. Agree or not, you will open your eyes when your body dies. Stay tuned...
