owwww ...
Yup, I play guitar and have daily, and quite happily for the last 13 yrs or so. I know when I first started, my fingers would be sore and blistered, but do it everyday, and over time, your fingers will develop hard skin, and playing comes as easy as taking a shit.
Playing guiatr shouldn't be a chore, or something you force yourself to do. For me, it's something I love doing, and I get hyped up when I play.
My advice, if it seems like a chore, guitar isn't for you. Guitar takes patience, and a love and commitment to want to learn it. You're only going to learn if you really want to.
Your fingers will hurt at first, but keep playing on those fingers and they will toughen up. Not overnight, but as weeks and months progress.
Playing guitar is a lot fun while high, but learning while high isn't.If you're learning and you sit down to practice, avoid getting stoned for that. When you just want to sit down and rock out, then that's the time to get high. :smokin:

This time, I stuck with it for a few hours, and GOD DAMN my fingers hurrttttt. My nails are longer that my skin, I clipped them, but when I hold a string to a fret I still tear away the skin... hurts like a bitch... This will go away right? Rating: 5
