"We could spend the rest of our life saying that we love such a person or thing, when the truth is that we are merely suffering because, instead of accepting love's strength, we are trying to diminish it so that it fits the world in which we imagine we live."

Dude... omg... There is soooo much more to that book. So much infact that I still haven't gotten it yet. I own it, i've read it twice, but I refuse to analyze a book when I'm more interested in immersing myself in another's life.

No there's not. It's a self-help book disguised as literature. If that's what you need, something that re-validates you and makes you feel good about being human, by all means enjoy it.
If you're not a complete basketcase however, and are looking for either a quality read, or something with actual applications, read something by Borges rather than wasting your time on Coelho.
