We all have different levels of intelligence.
Pot doesn't change this.
A relatively stupid person is still going to be stupid when they're high,
an intelligent one intelligent.
We all different ways of processing things as well, devoid of how intelligent we are.

Now, sometimes, I get comfortable with an emotion and a sensation, I.E. being happily stoned and enjoying a burger, and any intellectual thought would only take away from this expirience. I will realize how much I am truly enjoying this expirience, and from there, the expirience will only be THAT much better. Relativity. I want to RELISH this expirience, feel every last greasy morsel of burger on my tongue.

But just becuase I chose to spend my high, in the most rewarding way at the time, doesn't mean that in a different situation, one where I most likely don't have a burger or a primarily indica variety of pot, I might find that intellectual thought, aided by the wonderful mind-altering properties of pot, much more rewarding.

The thing with thc, it's not that you're realizations and perceptions that you found so incredible while high AREN'T that incredible, it's that when you try to perceive them sober you don't always reach the same level of understanding. You're mind isn't going to think as fast, connotations and images that aren't always portrayed in conscious realization aren't going to come to a sober person as they would a high one. As well as the fact, the RELATIVITY of the situation, the comparison to your sober mind and your high one, leaves you startlingly AWARE of how altered you are, positively and negatively.
And the fact that when you're sober, you're just not going to remember everything that you thought of in 1.2 seconds that caused such a feeling of understanding while stoned.

From a sober perspective, yeah, those relatively intelligent stoned people's thoughts may SEEM dull and inarticulate, but if you were in their place, they may very well be the personal intellectual highlight of their month. You just can't perceive them that way.
Stoned thoughts are a very personal thing.
