Break Up help please.

So yeah, I'm in a long distance relationship that I am no longer happy with. I find myself stressed out and I think its time to break up. She is very emotionally unstable and she has told me that she stopped cutting herself because I came into her life. This just puts more pressure on me. I wont get to see her again for a long time and I have to do it soon or I'll end up doing bad in school because I am so stressed out. Thus, it has to be over the phone. Can anyone help me with what to say, because the last thing i want is her to bleed to death. I need to make it easy on both of us, and I need to make it fast. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Theres really only 2 ways to break up. Be an asshole, or be as nice as you can. Obviously you've chosen to go with the latter.

Maybe you could make up an excuse...a reason why you had to break up with her.

Other than that, theres not much else you can do.

Jesus...you're in a tough situation. Is she getting any professional help? Because as much as she'd like to think that you're responsible for her happiness, she needs to be able to cope with pain that comes with life without hurting herself. She really needs serious help.

I'm sorry I can't offer any advise on how to break up with her since I have never met anyone who cut themselves but whatever you do, I would do it gently as possible and maybe you could offer to still be her friend.

Yeah she sees a therapist. Still I feel it needs to be done promptly or I will have some problems. My mom wants me to do well in school and I do too , but I have been way to distracted with her.

yeah... my friend was in the same situation... you just have to tell her your only one person and that cutting herself is rediculous... you she call her mom up and tell her she needs help orsomething.

Yeah this is why I hate girls. With their emo bullshit and the woe is me teenage angst cutting for attention. Ugh. People these days don't know what real pain is. Be a man and just do it.
